The booking, the table and the bill are the same thing.

Most venues run a diary in one app, a floor plan on paper and a till that knows about neither. Here a booking becomes a seated table becomes an open bill, without anybody retyping a name.

No card. Cancel in one click. Runs in a browser on hardware you already own.

Walk through a day

One service, step by step.

Every step below happens inside DineHopper. Nothing is typed in twice, and nothing is handed to another app.

What you will actually use

The six you will open every day.

There are seventeen modules in DineHopper. These six are the ones a restaurant will open daily. The other eleven are in there too and sit quietly until you want them.

  • Bookings — diary, floor plan, run sheet and waitlist in one place
  • Deposits — taken on the booking, straight to your own Stripe, off the bill automatically
  • POS Terminal — split any way, course firing, staff PINs on anything that costs money
  • Kitchen Display — per-station queues with tickets that age in colour
  • Guests — visits, spend and allergies computed from bookings and orders, not typed in
  • Events — set menus and function bookings without a spreadsheet
How we price it

How does a free POS make money?

Out of your card payments. A POS that costs nothing up front usually takes about 1.5% of every card sale instead. On $20,000 a month in card takings that is roughly $300 a month, and it comes out whether you used the software that month or not.

We do it the other way round. One flat monthly price, from $89 ex GST. Bring your own terminal and we take nothing from your card takings, and no commission on your own online orders. Want one provider for everything? DineHopper Payments adds 0.30% to the processing cost. Who processes your cards stays your decision.

Before you ask

What restaurants ask us.

We already take bookings somewhere else. Can we keep that?

You can run both while you switch, but the point of doing it here is that the booking and the bill are in one database. That is what lets a deposit come off a bill automatically and an allergy note reach the pass.

Who holds the deposit money?

You do. Deposits, POS sales and gift card purchases all run through your own connected Stripe account. DineHopper never holds guest funds.

Can one manager see two venues?

Yes, on Complete. Group Dashboard rolls up bookings, guests and sales across every venue you have linked, and each venue keeps its own staff, wages and bills separate.

Not quite you?

It is the same system either way.

These pages only change which parts get talked about first.
