Every plan includes everything the tier below it has. Add POS Terminal on top of any plan whenever you're ready for a real till.
Already free on Complete — no need to add this if you're on that plan.
Every module in DineHopper, and exactly which plan unlocks it — matched to what actually turns on in the product, not a marketing rounding-up.

A quick way to place yourself, beyond the feature checklist above.
You want bookings and basic order tracking sorted without paying for tools you won’t touch yet. Lite covers Bookings and Order Automation, capped at 300 bookings + orders a month combined — plenty for a single small venue finding its feet.
You’re past the basics and want a real Guest CRM, staff rostering/timesheets/wages, and Bills — uncapped. Most single-venue cafés and restaurants that have found their rhythm land here.
You want Inventory (recipe-linked auto-deduction, so stock actually tracks itself), Gift Cards, Hopper Rewards, Promote campaigns, and guest Feedback — the tools that turn first-time guests into regulars.
You need AI Calls answering the phone, a no-commission ordering Website, ticketed Events, POS Integrations (Square/Toast/Lightspeed/QuickBooks), and — if you run more than one venue — the Group Dashboard rollup across all of them.
Scored feature-by-feature against real competitor documentation — booking/CRM platforms and POS/till systems on their own separate checklists, never blended into one number.
| Platform | Booking & CRM score | POS & till score | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| DineHopper | 94% | 95% | Bookings + CRM + POS in one account, one price |
| SevenRooms | 77% | — | Booking/CRM only — POS is a separate integration |
| OpenTable | 70% | — | Booking/CRM only, per-cover fees on top |
| Square for Restaurants | — | 75% | Strong POS, no real booking/CRM layer |
| Lightspeed Restaurant | — | 79% | Strong POS, no real booking/CRM layer |
| CloudWaitress | 21% | 23% | Ordering-site focused, thin on booking + till both |
What a full countertop setup typically needs — not a storefront, and not final pricing.
A tablet or touchscreen PC for the Till — Windows, Android, or iPad, since DineHopper runs in any modern browser — plus a paired EFTPOS terminal for card payments. Linkly and mx51 cover Australian EFTPOS; Revolut Terminal works with your own Revolut Business account.
Any Epson ePOS-Print compatible network printer works for guest receipts. Add one printer per kitchen station (grill, drinks, dessert…) if you want tickets to print there too, instead of only showing on the digital Kitchen Display.
For anything sold by weight — coming soon. Needs a USB/serial scale with a continuous data output (we’re starting with the CAS PD-II) connected through a small bridge app that shares its live reading with the Till over your own network.
A USB or network cash drawer that kicks open automatically on a cash sale, and any USB or Bluetooth barcode scanner for Retail Till — it types straight into the scan field like a keyboard, no special driver needed.
Every module stays unlocked for 14 days, no card required. If your trial ends before you’ve picked a plan, Bookings, Order Automation, Guests, Staff & Payroll, and Bills stay available — everything else locks until you choose a plan, and nothing is deleted while you decide.
No lock-in contract — upgrade, downgrade, or cancel any time from Billing. Moving up unlocks the new plan’s modules immediately; moving down keeps your data in place even if a module locks again.
No setup fee. You build your menu, floor plan, and settings directly in DineHopper’s own Configure pages — there’s no separate onboarding charge.
You do. Guest deposits, POS sales, and gift card purchases all run through your own connected Stripe account — DineHopper never holds guest funds, and Stripe’s own processing fees apply on top of your DineHopper subscription, the same as they would with any Stripe-based checkout.
The Till runs in any modern browser — Windows, Android, or iPad, on hardware you likely already have. See Hardware below for what a full countertop setup typically needs if you’re starting from scratch.
Yes, on Complete: Group Dashboard rolls up bookings, guests, and sales across every venue you’ve linked, and Franchise (in Account) can track and collect royalties between a franchisor and its franchisees if that applies to you.
Every new account gets a 14-day trial with every module unlocked — no card required.
