Every order through your own page is an order you keep all of.
A delivery app can take thirty percent of a forty dollar order and you still do not get the customer. The volume is the business, so the commission is the business.
No card. Cancel in one click. Runs in a browser on hardware you already own.
The same thing, on screen.
Filmed off the real product, not a mockup. Sound on — there is a voice explaining what you are looking at.
Swipe sideways for the rest.
One lunch rush, step by step.
Every step below happens inside DineHopper. Nothing is typed in twice, and nothing is handed to another app.
Your page, your menu. No commission, and the customer details are yours.
Shown when it is due, not when it arrived, so the 12:15 is not made at 11:51.
Same menu, same screen, one queue. The kitchen does not care which door.
Bumped on the kitchen screen or closed at the till, whichever hand is free.
What came from your page, what came from the counter, what each was worth.
The six you will open every day.
There are seventeen modules in DineHopper. These six are the ones a takeaway will open daily. The other eleven are in there too and sit quietly until you want them.
- Website — your own ordering and pickup page, no commission on your own orders
- Order Automation — scheduled orders shown when they are due, not when they arrived
- Kitchen Display — tickets on any tablet, per station, no printer
- POS Terminal — the counter and the website in one queue
- Gift Cards & Vouchers — sold from the till or the site
- POS reports — takings by channel and by hour
How does a free POS make money?
Out of your card payments. A POS that costs nothing up front usually takes about 1.5% of every card sale instead. On $20,000 a month in card takings that is roughly $300 a month, and it comes out whether you used the software that month or not.
We do it the other way round. One flat monthly price, from $89 ex GST. Bring your own terminal and we take nothing from your card takings, and no commission on your own online orders. Want one provider for everything? DineHopper Payments adds 0.30% to the processing cost. Who processes your cards stays your decision.
What takeaway & qsr ask us.
Do we have to stop using the delivery apps?
No, and most venues should not straight away — the apps bring people who have never heard of you. The argument is to give the ones who have heard of you somewhere better to order, because that is the order where the margin lives.
What does the online ordering cost per order?
Nothing. No commission on your own orders, on day one or at five hundred a week. Your payment provider charges their own processing fee, the same as with any checkout.
What does the ordering page itself cost to set up?
Nothing, and $49 a month after that — or nothing extra if you are on Complete. Bought separately from an ordering vendor it is usually a few hundred dollars up front plus a monthly fee. For a fully custom design, have one built and point it at your ordering page.
Can we take orders for later, not just now?
Yes. Scheduled orders carry their pickup time through to the kitchen screen so they are made to that time.
It is the same system either way.
These pages only change which parts get talked about first.
